Peltonen
From the plains of the Middle East to the Finnish forests Peltonen Knives comes from the hands of the Finnish military observer Juha-Pekka Peltonen.
The idea was born in the scorching heat of Southern Lebanon and has since adapted to the harsh conditions of the North. The Ranger Puukko has been developed with functionality in mind - as a tool for the professionals and as a trusted companion for the quality-conscious hunters and adventurers. While working as a military observer in Lebanon, JP Peltonen gets his hands on an American military knife.
The weight, usability and balance of the knife are in a class of their own and make a deep impression on Mr. Peltonen. The idea of a knife with similar characteristics, but suited to the conditions of the North, remains smoldering in his mind. Thus began the story of Peltonen Knives and its long journey from the plains of the Middle East to the Finnish forests.

Peltonen Knives - M23 Ranger Cub Orange - FJP308 - Couteau Puukko
Le couteau M23 Ranger Cub est doté d'une lame de 6,5 cm en acier au carbone avec un tranchant durci par induction à 62 HRC. N'oubliez pas que l'acier au carbone nécessite toujours un peu d'attention, alors gardez la lame propre, lavez-la et séchez-la après chaque utilisation. Vous pouvez également appliquer un peu d'huile sur la lame de temps en temps. Avec un entretien approprié, la corrosion est tenue à distance et la lame reste intacte.
Le matériau du manche est un TPV (thermoplastique vulcanisé), un type de plastique similaire au caoutchouc qui résiste presque indéfiniment à l'usure, aux chocs, aux produits chimiques et aux variations de température. La prise en main reste sûre même dans des conditions humides.
Grâce à l'étui en Kydex, le couteau peut facilement être porté à la ceinture en position horizontale.
